WOW! What's THIS old movie? Amazing pictures. (Again: Banner is magnificent! And: I'm definitely buying your whole theory of our seesawing bloggery. Very sound--couldn't have come up with a better one. Wait: Unless we're the same person, in which case I DID come up with that one and am congratulating myself. Need nap now.)

P.S. Love the old gas station pictures.

These are from 'The Phantom Light' which I enjoyed even more than 'The Ghost Train' in spite of the fact that the lead female character is an annoying half-wit as played by an actress who seems to be the same. It's even educational as I learned from it the proper way to enter a lighthouse that sits on a tiny little spit of rock that's not connected to the mainland. It's complicated and it involves pulleys.

They're really great pictures. Do you remember the name of the actress? (I had no idea that pulleys were involved in accessing a remote lighthouse--that sounds like it might have been an important plot point, as well as a very real impediment to me accessing said remote lighthouse: "Mongo pull WHICH lever to make WHICH pulley go?)
