Seven Minutes In Heaven

Have I ever mentioned before on this blog here that I'm gonna marry Stevie Nicks. I sometimes forget to bring this up when I meet new people. I realized that I was going to marry her when I was about twelve years old, so at this point in my life it's such a given that I forget that not everybody knows this about me... I'm gonna marry Stevie Nicks someday. Don't know when. Have to meet her first. She has some top-notch security working for her, but I'm nothing if not tenacious. And lacking in common sense. And I've pretty much convinced everyone who's known me for more than a few years that this is going to happen at some point in the future, so when the black-laced trimmed wedding invites show up in their mailboxes one day they'll give a quick look and just say, "I think I'm free that day." Plus, you're all invited as well.

Why do I bring this up now? Because I just found this six minute and fifty-one second long clip of Stevie standing in a recording booth and not doing much of nothing but looking pretty, singing the words "Ooooh, yeah" a couple of times and bouncing. Oh, how she bounces...

If you love Stevie as much as I do (and I know that you do not, because you're not the one who's gonna marry her one day!) then you'll stay glued to this vid until the very end. Those non-Stevie lovers among you will be bored within the first eleven seconds, so you should just go meander through the links section and come back here another day...

1) CAPTAIN KANGAROO!
2) MOODY SPRING PICTURES!
3) REDDY KILWATT IN A FRENCH MAID'S OUTFIT!!!
4) BOUNCY, JIGGLICIOUS STEVIE NICKS!

More greatness from Steven "Mr. Punkins" A.!

While I do not love your future wife Stevie Nicks as much as you do (who could?), I really enjoyed this clip. The poor back-up chick with the glasses, 'though. She looked like she was getting an earful of hot coals from the booth and she had to SWITCH POSITIONS! That can't be good.

Make that Reddy Kilowatt. Rats.

(Note to self: Try to draw 1970s ultimate flashback picture of "Helen Reddy Kilowatt".)

Stevie Nicks has always been a favorite of mine. I love her voice. The clothing she wears belongs in my closet. She has style. Just think she's real keen, is all. I enjoyed the video, I like seeing people as people and not who we make them out to be.
Love this site, lots of fun.
*May there always be bats in your belfry*

You MARRIED Stevie and disappeared, haven't you? Well, mazel tov and all that rot, but couldn't you dash off a quick post whilst on your honeymoon? Wait. Steven. Stevie. "Hi, I'm Steven A. and I'd like to introduce you to my wife, Stevie A." No. It cannot be. I'm sorry, Steven, you guys can't have the same first name. You're gonna need to change your name to Elmer A. You wouldn't have had this problem if you'd just married Christine McVie or one or both of the girls from "Heart."
